No bout adoubt it. Anything that reminds and reinforces a sense of connection... For me that makes life worth living.

It would, heaps, if ever I got any.
I do get physical intimacy once or twice a month, but have not been emotionally intimate with someone for many years, into decades now.

Sure. But it takes time to really get to know someone. I'm pretty hard to get to know. So it's great to have in your life but intimacy is work.

I believe that intimacy is necessary for all of us to have empathy for one another.
