So I made a strong cup of chamomile tea & suffered the consequences. Beware. My hands began to itch from the inside out. Anaphylaxis shock could be in the future. Been there. Done that. Internet reveals chamomile is related to ragweed. The scourge of late summer rhinitis victims. An antihistamine saved the day as I continued to read. My chamomile tea will be much much diluted in the future.

Yeah, much thanks for the warning. I've doubled up on tea bags occasionally and I'll avoid this with chamomile.

I once had a very scary time after sucking on propolis. My tongue and throat started to swell closed.

Good to know!

I’m glad you’re ok! Anaphylaxis, or just a near miss, is terrifying. I’ve had some severe reactions to meds, but my food allergies are the worst. I no longer try new foods unless my epi pen is on the table.
Thank you for sharing the tea info—I’m allergic to ragweed, also.

Wow, thank you, I had no idea! I've never been a fan, but I have it for guests, so this is good to know.
