Wanted to share that with everything bad going on lately, I finally got some good news. Not only did two of my tires get replaced but I GOT ACCEPTED INTO THE MASTER’S PROGRAM AT OU.

@1EarthLovingGal If you live a comfortable lifestyle without going overboard on spending those loans can be paid off quickly if the job pays well... Hopefully Sanders will be elected and the loans may become irrelevant...
@1EarthLovingGal I just looked it up and if you have 100K in debt at 6.8% to pay it off in 10 years takes a payment of 1,150 a month but if you can squeeze out 1,500 the pay off time drops to 3 years.... So lets use that figure and say you get a job some place for 80K a year (average for a CPS worker starting pay where I live. 80 /12 gives you about 5,500 a month after taxes which if you get a nice apartment out here for around 1,700 a month and put 1,500 to the school loans that leaves you with 2,200 a month to pay bills and buy what you want or even save some for a down payment of a home of your own... Considering what you have been living on I think you could handle that for 3 years right?... Using prices here as an example....
