I don't need anyone to convince me to be abused.. I'd be out of there the very first time I'm assaulted...
Perhaps the problem should be addressed differently. It mostly seems, in our society anyway, that the blame is placed on the woman/mother, i.e. why don't you leave him and so forth.
More to the point the finger of guilt would be better pointed at the abuser and society to say, when will you stop abusing your family.
It is shocking that women have to be considered the active party in male domestic violence.
It's all good to point the finger at the guilty party but she should leave also...
I wrote a paper on that a few years back just a first draft and after uploading it a professor from U Mass asked for permission to use it in a new course titled Sociology of Religion....
@1EarthLovingGal Actually I hadn't slept for a couple days and someone made a comment to me about how pro-women the bible was so I wrote it after I had just given her a head shrinking lecture about how shitty her religion really was....
