Dissecting bath toys, researchers found that these toys are filled with bacteria and fungi. While being exposed to some microbes helps build a healthy immune system, for children with less-developed systems it could be harmful. The potentially harmful bacteria included Legionella and Pseudomonas aeruginosa on 80% of the toys studied. So squeezing water from these ducks into a child's face maybe isn't the best idea.
