Who’s trippin about the corona virus
Eh, if it's not one thing it's another, I don't see the sense in getting worried over such. Hardly a dull moment these days...
I appreciate the abundance of information, so I can make smart choices. It was a difficult decision to travel yesterday from my home state which has no confirmed cases, to Seattle which has several confirmed cases and deaths, to visit family, purely a pleasure vacation.
I am paying close attention to the safety measures for someone in my age group and health level. I believe all the precautions people are taking will cut down on colds and flu as well as curbing the spread of the coronavirus covid-19.
We all need to do our part to assist our communities and travel destinations in eradicating this illness, so it's wise to practice healthy habits while enjoying the most out of our life every day. Living life as fully as possible, while keeping ourselves, our loved ones and our communities safe.
I am trying to not be affected by all the hype. The covid-19 infection is mild in 80% of cases. In fact, I wonder if there are many subclinical infections going on. I am however in a more vulnerable category, given my age and that I have diabetes.
But the same applies to the seasonal flu as well.
I expect to get it at some point, just like every flu. I anticipate it will be very bad. Not looking forward to that.
