Democracy seems great until your candidate doesn't get enough votes.
I see maybe three states Bernie might win and none are large. What states do you think he could win on that list?
How many delegates are available in all those States?
Great question. I don’t know.
@Lorajay
I am not a Trumper. I have been saying Bernie is polarizing the Democratic Party for 6 years and we have already paid a price in 2016 when Bernie voters sat out 2016. 2020 will be the second time. It is our own doing. Trump and Russia have to do nothing. With candidates like Bernie, who needs enemies?
@St-Sinner Stop spreading the lie that Bernie voters stayed home 90-95% of people that voted for Bernie in the primary voted for Hillary in November. What cost her the election was a multitude of reasons, Voter supression over a million primarily democratic voters removed from the rolls in states that she only lost by 80,000. Red shift, the difference between exit polls and voter count. Out right election fraud by the republican party. $4 billion in free political coverage by the networks for trump, Russian interference, fake facebook accounts trolling democrats, I could go on for a while, but you need to stop the bullshit that she lost because Bernie voters stayed home or voted for Jill Stien.
@glennlab
But I have also read articles, blogs and news about Bernie supporters sitting out. Do you know Hillary Clinton made a remark about it too? It is not just my opinion. I think Biden is more re-conciliatory than Hillary was because it was a fact that Bernie supporters rebelled against Hillary.
From what the corporate media are saying, the rest of the primaries may well be called off and the DNC will just declare Biden the nominee..The DNC can do whatever they want to as long as they are willing to put up with the uproar, as the courts have declared them a private organization that does not even have to follow their own rules..
I will ask you the same question I ask Skado. What states do you think Bernie can win on that list. I see maybe three, four tops.
@Sticks48 I'll ask you a ? Is it fair that most Dem voters will probably not get to vote in the primaries at all?
@TomMcGiverin If they are held they will and some if not all will be held. Which of those states do you think Bernie can win? Whether the primaries are cancelled is up to the individual states. The DNC has no control over that. You must remember Bernie is not a Democrat. He is a registered Independent. That does not help him. His proclamation of being a Socialist doesn't help him either. We have people in both the House and Senate who are nonbelievers and we have and have had Presidents who are nonbelievers, but you can't say that and win in this country. It is the same with being a "Socialist". You can be one just don't say it out loud. Bernie is his own worst enemy. He is a good man with good ideas, but politically he ain't that sharp.
Wow, half the states' primaries remain for Bernie to win. What a good turn-around that would be.
If Bernie won even a half a dozen of those states on that list, I might have to become a believer again, as it would truly be a miracle.
