To the millions of Californians,
Welcome to the world of being under house-arrest
I prefer to be alive wherever I may find myself and look at all the time I have to work on my indoor & outdoor projects. You create your own "Heaven" or " Hell" right here, right now, by your outlook. Period.
I am wondering how soon for the rest of us.
Over the course of the coming week, I would suggest.
@Petter My office has too much stuff that cannot be done remotely, per our supervisor we will always need bodies there. We're the Finance office for a large specialty hospital. It's not like we can close, too many sick kiddoes, and 3000 people gotta be paid. If money gotta go out, money gotta come in.
@HippieChick58 In Spain certain categories of workers deemed "essential" are allowed to go to work, under strict conditions such as sanitisers , soap and water being plentiful, and strict personnel separation. After work they must decontaminate and return directly home.
@Petter That happens in the US as well. I am not sure how they decide who "essential" workers are. Of course the doctors, nurses, orderlies etc. But paper pushers? Some things can wait. That decision is way above my pay grade.
