Evidence Over Hysteria
One of the best analyses I have seen. A little wonky but worth the read. The key actions needed to be taken early, we missed it, but we'll be OK.

I don't have time to read the whole article, but I don't think we should be completely fatalistic about this, cautious, absolutely, but we will recover and get back to life as usual before we know it. I think it is best to trust in all of the people who have historically been our sources of intelligence, knowledge and strength. Our, Drs, medical people, scientists, police, first responders, our military forces, politicians who despite our disagreements with, do work for the betterment of society. I am sorry if I left out an entire sector here. Right now I also include workers in the medical and food supply chain also. Very important people at this time! Also journalists who are faithful to the truth and not some prewritten narrative. We WILL get through this!
While this does put things in a less dire perspective - the fact remains America (no clue about other countries, I'm in the PNW) does not have enough PPEs, ventilators, beds, etc. if the expected number of people become ill.
This pandemic has exposed how corrupt and under prepared the current administration is. The level of unpreparedness borders on criminal.
"Boarders" is putting it too mildly. Everything from this administration has been criminal.
Wow what a piece of SHIT! Why not just attend Spring break in Fort Lauderdale? Yeah, that's a good idea.......
