Why are there so many prayers out for the cure of Coronavirus? I have a friend who posts prayers every day for a cure for cancer and now she has added COVID to the list. I try as politely as possible to explain that only science and or medicine will see us through this and prayers are not going to do much or ever have unless you became a victim and then it is a grave sight issue. Viruses such as the one we are now witnessing have been with us forever and always will be. This strain was quite different then the others and our government particularly being overseen by an Idiot in chief dismantled all of the safeguards and is still doing it while playing golf and addressing the needs of Wall Street. All of these Southern States showing no regard for their citizens and telling these crazed Evangelists to hold prayer services and hold hands. To witness this is so unbelievably ignorant of those who are following these fanatics who have their followers so duped. And now the Govenor of Mississippi has issued that no safeguards will be implemented but to just pray.
