Went to safeway today. Saw a father and five kids running around in the store touching everything like it was a game.
Is safeway fucking stupid? Why are they letting kids in the grocery store during a national emergency while that is the most dangerous location that is critical?
I'm not going to comment on the ignorant parent. He is just stupid trash.
The store is afraid he will shoot the place up if anything is said. The decline of civilization. Perhaps he was a terrorists spreading the disease to destroy Amerika. ??????? =0}
I'm scared. I'm angry. Bad combination. And I still have NO apple pie!
Saw the same thing this morning at Aldi... a youngish woman with an infant and three boys under 10. They were outa control.
Spare the rod spoil the child. But apply it only to the butt. Designed to receive the rod.
@Mooolah I don't believe in hitting kids... there are other ways to teach them without making them hate your guts LOL
@TheoryNumber3 I believe hitting a child is assault. A whack on the butt is not assault.
@Mooolah Sorry. I still disagree. I don't hit kids or pets. Men.... that's a different story
They better change their name to "Unsafeway"
I had some fucking idiot keeping on encroaching my safe zone this morning. If I had been a bit more quick-witted, I would have told him to fuck right off and stop threatening me like that.
I had one two days ago also. We are all doomed because of these irresponsible buttmonkeys.
Parents will just say "I can't leave my kids in the car or at home, you have to let me in". And no one is going to argue with that because hell hath no fury like a self-righteous parent told they suck at being a parent.
My brothers three kids all went to juvenile detention. He says to me" I suppose you can do better"? Well, I'm not married but I don't think I would have failed three times.
It might not be the store that is wholly to blame. Is your county or state implementing public rules like limiting the number of people in a store and offering guidelines for stores to implement, backing them up if they were to step in an ask the kids to stop that action?
In my county, they are allowing only 5-10 people in the store at a time. As each person comes out another person is admitted in. Having more than one family member in the store is discouraged, enforced by the stink-eye given by those waiting to get in.
But yes, any parent allowing kids to touch anything in the store during these times is not setting a good example. Hopefully you spoke up, directly to the father, and reminded him that we are being asked not to touch an item unless we are seriously thinking of buying it. Hopefully that will catch on, by gently educating those who don't realize they are engaging in dangerous behavior for themselves and others.
I didn't say shit. I'm disgusted by the whole country. You can't "educate" the unwilling. If this SOB doesn't know by now, he will when his kids start dieing.
Sorry, I get angry when I have to defend myself from dying.
I don't have the patience or time left to educate gently or otherwise any longer. I pass the torch & have been a prepper for decades. The more I educate folks the worse it gets as the population expands & the world shrinks. & then they stay home believe FB, don't vote & this moron is elected. Nature does fight back.
