Itโs a good thing I do not have to hunt for my food. I donโt even know where tacos live.
You have to grow them. Plant the trees and wait.
@Gwendolyn2018 In Australia they roam wild in the bush and pretty easy to catch, even for a non hunter like me!
@Gwendolyn2018
I think you have confused them with enchiladas.
@Gwendolyn2018 Wow, thereโs evolution and adaption for you!
@Gwendolyn2018 Very clever!
They live wih Sharko.. and Marko.. ..arrive early and set out a bowl of sour cream..
This thread is the best!
goddamit... I'm a city slicker, not a country farm gal.... I need the farmers to catch, cut up and freeze or BBQ my chicken meat for me!
Catching it is one thing...wringing itโs neck is quite another!
I much prefer to use an axe.
I will be doing for a Muscovy drake or two this weekend, freezing one and eating the other next weekend.
@MissKathleen I was a city girl, and we lived above my fatherโs grocery store....no chickens to have to catch or wring necks. My experience with hens and chickens came much later when I came to live here, in the middle of the country.
As the Victorian maxim has it, "looks fades but good cooking keeps getting better", applies equally to husbands and wives.
(just kidding)
I'm a pheasant mother plucker,
I pluck mother pheasants
I'm the most pheasant mother plucker that ever plucked a mother pheasant
I wouldn't mind catching one but I need a fellow that can wring its neck and pluck it.
Plucking chickens is okay, but Muscovy ducks are a bit harder.
I can Pluck my own chickens....
two nails in a V in a log and an ax....hang by it's feet on a clothesline to drip. Then it's dressing and plucking time.
I can catch mine, when she is in her pen; but I would never harm her. I will only hug her and kiss her and tell her she's a pretty girl. Just kidding...I don't kiss my chickens; and will only catch her if I need to tend to her, or put on/change her cute little apron.
However, I did kiss one of my young ducks on the top of his sweet little head.
Lol!!! Being single is really cool so... no chicken-catching-women for me!!! Lol!!!
Good one...
Within a couple more weeks of all the non-essential businesses being closed (ie beauty salons) all women will start to look pretty much the same. The men of course will look as awful as we always have, no change at all.
LOL...I just got reminded how to "catch a chicken"...my daughter-in-law bought a bunch along with a "hen house" to raise them..and I was astounded to see how easy it was (actually she made it "look easy" - it wasn't!
I'm reminded of a 60's Playboy cartoon.
Young long-haired hippie guy lying on the mattress (on the floor).
Young gal walking away . . .
(gal's caption)
Roll me a joint, Roll me a joint -- a woman's work is never done !
Why is it that (so far) ONLY guys have found my "pheasant mother plucker" comment (below) funny ?
