It's fitting this year that April Fools Day lines up with Zombie Jesus Day. On this day 2,000,000,000 people will drink the blood and eat the flesh of a 2000 year old zombie who was the son of a Jewish teenager and a being that created 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars.
It seems like most humans are completely incapable of detecting bullshit when they see it. Here's another example from yesterday's NCAA Tournament:
I watched the Michigan/Loyola game, and Moe Wagner played an amazing game, but it illustrates how someone can come up with a story that is completely false and the story propagates so quickly. If you google "Wagner joined future NBA Hall of Famers Hakeem Olajuwon and Larry Bird as the only players ever to tally at least 20 points and 15 rebounds in a national semifinal game" you get lots of references, and they were spouting that false fact over and over again on TV after the game. However many many players have scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a national semifinal game. Here is a partial list:
