As some of you may know I post a lot here about Political Economics. This interview best encompasses many of my values and much of the thinking on which I base my comments to others. It is short on the monetary reform issues but Herman Daly worked at the World Bank and Kate Raworth returned to the field of economics after reading Herman’s book. She is one of the few academics who translates economic thinking into the real world. She knows that the theories we carry around in our head — What Friedman called ideas lying around and what Naomi Klein uses in her work — need to be visualized which is why she came up with the concept of Doughnut Economics. I became interested in this when I read Limits To Growth several decades ago. [pscp.tv]
Would you say the ensuing decades have proved Limits to Growth true?
