Timeline: How Donald Trump responded to the coronavirus pandemic
The timeline says it all.
I say China has known about the coronavirus since late October/early November but did nothing to contain the virus. I have a feeling that they knew what effects the virus would have globally. This is in effect a biological attack on the world.
Yes, China ignored the doctor who reported a new virus. Probably out of fears on how it would affect their economy not out of any desire to attack the world. Seriously, this hasn't helped them at all.
That said. Trump is responsible for all of his failures to take it seriously. And, why did he ignore the experts? Well, he was worried about how it might affect the economy and his re-election.
China was horribly wrong to ignore that brave doctor, who ended up dying from the new virus he discovered, and they need to know that it must never happen again. And, Trump must be held accountable for ignoring the CDC and other experts and for the horrible way he has handled this emergency.
You give them way too much credit. They just aren't that good.
The CDC issued its first warning on Jan 8
Trump held campaign rallies on Jan 9, Jan 14, Jan 28, Jan 30, Feb 10, Feb 19, Feb 20, Feb 21 & Feb 28
He golfed on Jan 18, Jan 19, Feb 1, Feb 15, Mar 7 & Mar 8
The first time he admitted the coronavirus might be a problem was Mar 13
Dont really need politifact to say Trump lies. His mouth is moving. The live asskissing covid 19 update, was nauseating.
