Found on ebay. Had to buy. If you're into theater and you have not seen Cradle Will Rock, do so at the earliest convenience. Even if you're NOT into theater, see that film. The cast is excellent, I especially love Angus Macfayden as Orson Welles and, of course, Bill Murray. And while Shape of Water is not Del Toro's greatest work, it does take a plot that we've seen in films like Splash, Creature From the Black Lagoon and Little Mermaid and uses it to explore themes of racism, homophobia and sexism. Even better is Del Toro's commitment to practical effects.
Shape of Water was awe inspiring and lovely..
And Sally Hawkins was brilliant in the role. I prefer Pan's Labyrinth as Del Toro's best work, but I was pleasantly surprised by Shape of Water. Normally I disagree with the Oscars choice for best picture.
