Please help me understand whether there's any truth to these videos. It's been doing the rounds in our country and Europe as far as UK and Germany. I am posting on here so this community can validate or wish-it-away. I know from this site I might be accused of posting in the first place and be called an anti vaxxer (which I am not) ...but if I don't post, well I wouldn't know any better. ...so here goes:

The first sentences touting him as the inventor of email are absolutely false - I can't imagine it gets any better as it goes along?

This might be the most interesting part of the HuffPost article:
'After warning that corrupt government leaders will seize on the crisis to enact authoritarian rule, Buttar — a widely discredited osteopath — directs viewers to his website, where he sells information packages that cost up to $450. Only there, he claims, can he share the “real truth” in its entirety.'
That certainly clears up the question of why he's doing this. Or maybe he also really believes his own bull, but also wants to make a buck off of it.

Use of the term "Deep State" it is a clear sign of bull. It is used only to sensationalize and play on fears. This guy knows there is no such thing. He is betting that some people buy it. Dr. Shiva sounds like he has a lot of controversial history, including the claim that he invented email, which had been in use at least a decade before his "email", and cirulating conspiracy theories. I didn't watch any further because, when the video starts off with falsehoods, I cannot trust anything else in it. The second video is by the same guy, so not worth watching, for me, as he has already shown himself to be a liar. Can;t stomach this stuff. He is one of many who make money by spreading shocking, unverified claims.

Why would they pay him that large sum after he made that same claim long-time ago?

This is an agenda driven, pseudo scientific program. I would say it is the equivalent of the climate deniers and flat earthers. Not to mention tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists so favored by the Republicans and Evangelicals (not to mention fundamentalist Islamists). Finding one or two “doctors” or scientists to disagree with the overall majority is not a hard thing to do. Speaking loudly and giving them a platform to say lots of words with nothing but their own “research” to back it up is the down side of the Web. It allowed Trump to be elected by manipulating baseless information into scare videos, spreads dangerous information as truth and wild rumors as fact.
Polio, tuberculosis and mumps and measles did not all but disappear because people ate more vegetables or found some magic root! They were almost made extinct because of vaccines and science. They are making comebacks in certain areas of the world because of useless fear mongers like these guys getting people to believe that which is not true.
So there you go. If you ask, I will not belittle you for asking. These videos are highly supported and financed by very powerful forces not interested in your welfare, but in destroying world order. Anything you see or hear, unless you can find reputable world wide sources to back them up, needs to be looked at with utmost skepticism.

Thank you for your response. I appreciate it . As I mentioned too, that I am not an anti vaxxer. My mother was one of the stalwarts for the BCG vaccine in South Africa in the 50s. She made sure that all newborn babies receive the BCG vaccine to eliminate the TB pandemic which was rife at that time. We as her kids, I would say were over vaccinated. From BCG, polio, tetanus, diphtheria, hepatitis, measles etc we had so many before 2 years old and then pre-school and high school.
I also have two uncles who are scientists in USA. I don't know their whereabouts at this stage and will not disclose their names either. We have lost touch many years ago and when my mother passed in 2016, she died with all their info, whereabouts etc
...but one cannot help but wonder about these interviews and public confessions made so boldly. I also wonder whether these people would be silenced and perhaps their whereabouts might not be known later. All those Chinese people that spoke out, their whereabout are not known any longer.

Was going to watch it but whenever I see "person X EXPOSES EVERYTHING the Deep State...." I know it contains the same % of actual facts that the bible does.
So didn't bother watching either.
