I finally have enough hair to have some itty bitty bangs. I have so many cowlicks though I have to put a pound of product on my hair to get it to do anything when it is this short. I hate sticky stuff on my hair. I'm actually glad I don't have to go out in public for a while. Maybe it will grow at least another half inch before I have to.

Meanwhile I have gone from severe to spiky.

That's cute. I may have missed a detail - why just growing hair now?

Thanks,Around Christmas I cut It all off so the new growth would be dye free and I could see what color it was. Then in Jan I went to the beauty shop and had her straighten it since I cut it myself with scissors. I am hoping to get another half inch in a month or so.

Wow, that look is adorable on you! Coifed and sophisticated, but inviting to run your fingers through (assuming it was someone you wanted to do that).

No someone anymore just lots of time on my hands and missing my bangs.

I too have very short hair & mine is thin as well...thanks, Mom & Dad!
I have found a few gel products that work for me, the best & cheapest one for black men I got at a dollar store...not sticky at all after it dries (quickly). Try putting a bit of talcum powder on your palms & fluffing it gently into your hair as a last step...around a teaspoon or 2, adds tons of volume!

My second wife used to put so much crap in her hair and spike it up I could get puncture wounds just touching it! It felt like one of those cheap plastic bristled hair brushes! Yours looks kind of cute! 👍 Much like Dame Judy Dench wears her’s.

Cut my own hair during this pandemic. Twice.

Got mine cut after assuming ..that might not be happening for a while. So, shorter than normal … if similar to above 😉
