Christian conservatives seem to be freaking out over Amazon's new show "Upload" that revolves around a virtual "afterlife" called heaven.
Just go look at all the one star reviews, boy they seem to hate it. A gay couple, some mild sex scenes with no full nudity that I've seen in the first three episodes (various bits are always hidden like an Austin Powers movie), and apparently some swearing (which in three episodes I've also not noticed) have them up in arms. Why didn't they warn us? I had my children watching it! Homosexually agenda! Liberal agenda! Oh the humanity!
News flash... It's clearly marked with a TV-MA rating so expect violence, nudity, bad language - definitely not for children. Also it's about young adults in the 2030s so expect society to be more liberal than it is now and expect there to be some sex.
They also seem to think this is laughing at Christians - naturally I'd have no problem with that but again, three episodes in and I haven't seen any direct reference to Christianity or even religion really. Maybe they are just pissed that it kind of mocks the concept of an afterlife and finality of death?
Maybe, I don't really know TBH, my sense of what offends Christians isn't that great but it sure seems like that they are a very delicate bunch. But if you're truly offended by something like this why do you watch so much of it and then rage on Amazon reviews? Assuming they did - a lot of the reviews really small l smack of people who are posting stuff without even watching it.
The xians want control of everything tax free ....jail theocrats and child abusers via religion
