I don't know why people on the left are suddenly so fond of socialism. Conservatives need to actually study and understand current events and the government, so that they don't elect idiots like Trump. Trump knows he's bad, and that's why he's letting the generals run his administration.

Voting does not work. And will not work, until the electoral college is either disbanded or completely redone. I want the first one.
And it's that attitude right there that gets those Evangelical elected. The electoral college only impacts the presidential election. State and local elections are by popular vote.
Yes! How on earth do such ignorant people have this much power in our society. It's mind boggling.

They take it. People who can convince themselves to believe just about anything certainly have the power to believe in themselves and their efforts. This is a powerful dynamic when much of your natural opposition are skeptics who underestimate the scope of your influence and appeal to the masses of people seeking a sense of security, purpose and meaning.
