What are your feelings toward precious metals? I bought gold at $1237, been selling it occassionally when it would get over $1500 and now im hating myself. Down to 1 ounce, so far ive made about $2400 Still have 80 oz of silver, waiting for the bottom to drop out of the dollar, even though i paid $18 an oz for that i expect it to go to $30 in a year or so. Talk me down.
Have you figured out how much you would have made in stock markets or municipal bonds vs. Metals?
Probably could have made a ton in the market, I got out at 17,500 because I couldn't justify any more increases, companies are making money off their money instead of product, I personally think that's unsustainable. I took most the money and bought 2 rental properties and about 15K in gold and silver. My thinking on the gold was that Trump and the GOP would probably tank the economy and precious metals would rise considerably. Unfortunately I sold most the gold at $1500+, should have waited.
If pm were a good investment those who’d inherited would buy it all.
Right now they are buying like crazy.
Everyone needs a hobby. And its a bonus if you can make some money.
