I have met someone who desires me. Haven't had that in a very long time. Of course I desire him back, that helps. And I'm hoping things continue to move in that direction. Thing is, though we enjoy each other's company very much, get along well, love to talk, and make each other laugh, neither of us knows if this is going to grow into love or a romantic relationship. And I seem to be okay with that: everything is a chance, and I'm enjoying the ride. But should I question any of it, I wonder?

Just enjoy it and see where it goes!

I think it’s good to question all things at all times, but not to let that keep you from moving forward and enjoying the moment.

If you have a good thing going why are you spoiling it worrying about tomorrow? I am now single too, and would like to find a long term/permanent relationship, but will be enjoying every moment in between. Enoy the day, appreciate what you have.

Enjoy the ride. Seems like at this point, there is nothing to question. 🙂

Enjoy it, don't burst the bubble.

Don't fix what isn't broken.

I think you should just let things flow and enjoy it. It might be too early to start questioning.

Firstly, congratulations! Secondly questioning is too much like 'wanting to fail'. Why put obstacles in your path without reason, they will come soon enough. Go with the flow and with a determination to make it work and nature will take it's course. The only bit of advice i would give is to talk often. Most relationships break down because of frustration at unspoken expectations not being met. Ask each other what each expects of the relationship then neither of you can complain that you were mislead at a later stage. Good luck !

Well, heck no! Sounds like something nice could be happening...just don't loose yourself and everything will come out just fine!

Go with the flow see we’re it goes. You never know what could happen

I am all for not really knowing how to grow things into other things. My current relationship had several "I don't know where this is going, but I want to find out" conversations. And we let it grow naturally, with both of us completely unsure of ourselves and the relationship. And that is much better than someone being sure and guiding it, since that person has their reasons for making it what they want it to be.

Good advice. Totally brand new for me.

No! Happy for you! 🙂

Enjoy the path you take, no choice is wrong if you always look forward!

Wonderful happy for you -let it take its natural course and enjoy.

Congratulations! Fairwinds and godspeed.

I think I speak for the rest of us when I say that we all want to totally have sex with you if that would be okay.

Enjoy the ride

Is it a physical relationship you are wondering about? Don't confuse that with love. They actually have little to do with each other. Even romance is a tricky subject.

Yes, it may be mainly physical at this point. I still wouldn't consider it if it wasn't with someone I didn't feel comfortable with and didn't feel some connection with. But whether it's love remains to be seen. Very new for me.

Don't over think it. You will just fuck it up.

Life is what you make of it, make a life of it. People can be bad or good. You don't know until you make the dive how thrilling it will be or how the water will feel. We don't have a magic sky daddy to make it all right so we have to take the risk or crawl in a hole.

Overthinking isn't good. Try CBD oil to quiet the fear and doubt.

I would take it one step at a time. I have never met any man that ever desired me. I'm hapless in that department.

sarahroo20 I doubt you are hapless. some of it is timing, some of it luck, some of it is whether or not you actually are leaving yourself open to opportunity. 🙂

I'm sure it'll happen. You're still young and you have a lot going for you. I'm in my 50's and still hapless.

@bleurowz I will be hapless when I hit 50 too.

@crazycurlz I'm not looking rn. I feel happier single. One day though...

@Sarahroo29 I've had my time happy and single, too. It has been a good experience. Now I think I'm ready for connecting. It's just a feeling. I'm pretty difficult to put in motion thought. LOL

@crazycurlz Lol.

Thank you all. This is really quite a new experience for me, and you've helped me see that I should just enjoy the ride.
