The arrogant, megalomaniacal destructiveness of Donald Trump is almost impossible to comprehend. On both the national and international stages, Trump consistently demonstrates that he is incapable of mounting any constructive policy or program which builds the strength of our nation or which serves our people. On the international stage, he has torn up or ended one treaty or agreement or treaty after another – in all areas of endeavor. He has weakened all of our international alliances and shown himself incapable of forming a personal relationship with any other national leader except Putin and the autocratic Saudi leader.
On the national stage, Trump has systematically and intentionally weakened government agency and program after another, either by withdrawing funding from the agency or by appointing agency leaders who are given the role solely because they will deliberately dismantle the aims, programs, and effectiveness of the agency. Throughout his entire presidency, he has not shown to ability to produce a plan or program to deal effectively with ANY problem or need which we and our nation face. The corruption of his entire governmental team is becoming more and more apparent – to the point that is now treated as a given.
And, to make the situation even worse, national level Republican politicians have consistently shown themselves unwilling and unable to fulfill the elected role of truly serving the needs of our nation and people, and of upholding the following of our Constitution. They have become very good at obstructing needed programs and actions, of putting aggressive partisan politics ahead of our people an nation, and of playing the game of intentionally weakening government programs and agencies so that they can seemingly show that “government does not work.” Further, they show a truly sad pattern of aiding and abetting corruption, deliberate flouting of our Constitution, and destructive actions of Trump and his team of greedy destroyers.
For the sake of our nation, our people, and our progeny it is time to restore government of, by, and ALL of our people. To do that, we must sweep aside the creeping curse of Trump and his Republican enablers. For the sake of of our democracy, we have no choice.
Everything you said is spot on. If we are to survive as a nation we definitely have no choice.
@MissKathleen The masses really aren't. His supporters are just louder. The angry are always loud, and the stupid are always angry.
@MissKathleen I believe, and certainly hope that you are dead wrong.
@MissKathleen Me too.
