I just put the icing on the cake for my day from h***. It seems like I've either been cleaning up cat or dog poop, disposing of the cat's dead frogs, lizards, and snakes all day. All while trying to get everything extra clean since I had guests arriving this afternoon.

I wearily climbed into the shower and discovered what I thought was a mosquito bite was really a tick in the middle of my back.It's definitely a time I wished there was a man in my life but since there isn't I called my neighbor and drove down to her house and she removed a spotted deer tick from my back. I wish I believed in prayer so I could pray I don't get Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

That's an important consideration. Everybody needs someone to inspect their bodies regularly. Look at how other primates groom each other. If you have a skin tumor behind you, how would you ever know?

I hope today is good enough that it makes up for the horrible one yesterday. {{{ hugs }}}

It takes 24 hours of attachment for disease transmission. You should be fine!

Thank you I needed to know that.

Or Lymes disease. Good to be friends with neighbors. Hopefully you got the tick out fast enough.

Thanks for the Lyme disease reminder, I checked Google and I need at least 36 hours to get Lyme disease from an attached tick.
