So recently my girlfriend passed away. Is it normal to get really mad at the show long island medium? It kinda burns me to watch a person profit from somebody else's pain.
When my first wife passed, I went thru the whole gammet, anger that she left me alone, relief that her pain & suffering had passed, relief that the stress of managing the whole mess was somehow gone, and feeling guilty about it all. Time passes, you eventually come to grips with it, and move on. I believe all mediums are con artist of the worst kind. To pray on the vunerability of someone grieving, is the worst kind of theivery possible. It especiallly ticks me that the medial adds legitimacy to these criminals, in my opinion, but as the phrase goes, follow the money.
Anything to make a buck people. I hung to these idiots for awhile untill i met James Randi. Then I gave up this bull crap and became an agnostic. I actually put her in a class above preachers. The ones that say god told them something and expected me to believe them. They should all be sent to the 16 century and deal with those idiots that burned witches.
So very sorry, a lot of us here have lost our mates.
We are here for you.
I'm so sorry for your loss...
Unfortunately in our society it is abnormal to be angry at a medium since its generally accepted that these charlatans actually possess these powers...
I only wish that the norm in the U.S. was a collective rejection of these con artists...
You have my sincere condolences. Your loss makes that type of reality tv buffoonery just that much more irritating. To watch someone purposefully prey on people who are grieving a loss & are looking for a shred of hope or closure or assurance is galling. & when she just walks up to a random person & starts fishing for a reaction.. I swear, (colloquialism follows) I'd pay cash money to see her roll up on the wrong one on the wrong day & get her ass wore like a hat.
I am sorry for your loss. I was just telling my husband the other day how much that show pisses me off.
Yes, because they /are/ profiting off other people's grief, which is reprehensible.
I mean, if someone wants to consult a medium, that's their right, but one shouldn't charge a big sum and certainly should never parade such things on television.
Completely normal to get mad at the parasites who take advantage of the desperate. Like the people who promise they can cure your cancer with orange juice and essential oils.
I saw that the Long Island medium is coming to do a show at our local casino soon. It’s disappionting that abject frauds have reached that level of celebrity
Sorry for your loss Sir. It is a sad thing the amount of exploitation that goes on.
There is no scientific evidence that proves mediums are authentic psychics.
True , but there a decievers afoot .
