Hello, I'm new here. Just looking for rational conversation with people who haven't fallen for the great scam that is organized religion. Many of us have overcome varying degrees of childhood indoctrination. Hooray for us.
Spent my first grade in a Catholic school.....was TERRIFIED of the nuns. They told us about spanking machines in the basement if we misbehaved in any way. I turned to say something to the kid sitting in the desk behind me and was told to sit in the trash can beside Sister Mary Catherine's desk and if she saw me cry, she would have me thrown out with the day's trash. BTW - I was 5.
Congratulations and welcome! I think you will like it here. I for one love it!
Well I think I do sometimes fall for organisations to do with anime. Yeah I was childhood indoctrinated into both, I've stayed faithful to the anime.
Religion. You just have shitty plots and are blaming the reader for the things you did. Hell (Jesus thing) even buddhism has had the lighting stuff on fire stages. Which ironically. Makes a better book than the bible at least there is something about point a to b. I guess it's good that first child stayed at his hebrew friends place that night.
Like. Imagine if Stephanie Myer (Twilight) blamed us for plotholes, totally unaddressed things in her writing? Scripture should be no different.
I mean my boyfriend is taoist but that is a philoshopy not a religion. [en.wikipedia.org] I'm athiest. I am writing a book about people that have been brought back to life from their pyschologists point of view (no afterlife) though.
And some of us were never slaves of religion. All kinds of people here, mostly cool lol
Hi, and welcome!
