Come here to share all the movies that have made you ponder those important questions; Existence, faith, purpose, reality, status quo etc.

My second group and probably last just wanted some media resources that would pertain specially to we who question all. 😉

Dreams by Akira Kurosawa....one of my all-time favorites. Every time I've seen it, it's left me feeling contemplative about life and the passage of time - amongst other things.

Just watched "Majorie Prime" a movie set around 2052 and it has a kind future. Not really any special effects. It's about how computers evolved and you could talk and carry on a conversation with a hologram of a dead person you loved. Family members would give it memories of the past and the hologram would learn and could become that person. Marjorie isan old woman who has Alzheimers and is dying. She enjoys talking to her young (computer) husband. The ending was wonderful. Rotten Tomatoes 90% certified fresh.

My Dinner With Andre

Andre: They've built their own prison, so they exist a state of schizophrenia. They're both guards and prisoners and as a result they no longer have, having been lobotomized, the capacity to leave the prison they've made, or to even see it as a prison.....

Andre: Do you know, in Sanskrit the root of the verb "to be" is the same as "to grow" or "to make grow".

Hmm... I'm interested but don't know if I could contribute meaningfully. Could you cite some examplar projects or directors?

You don’t have to join or regularly contribute. It’s really just a repository. Something as simple, obvious or mainstream as “The Matrix” would fall into this category.
