LOL!
I always find a bunch of humor when tables turn. Apparently .... tables have turned. Cops are now worried they're being spied on by our Ring doorbells. Poor bastards. If they weren't acting criminally, what would be seen by those wonderful door bells that show cops hitting "suspects" on bicycles with SUVs? Hmmmmmm........
FBI Worried Ring Doorbells are spying on law enforcement.

This may sound good but a recent article in the "Atlantic" showed the sinister underbelly of this technology. Extreme control is being sought in China and many items sold in other countries can be seen in China. [theatlantic.com]
Here's the problem (yes, me again with population). When a country as China grows (it is roughly the size of the US with quadruple our population) more people with different ideas and politics simply means more control is needed to stabilize the system. Think of one's house hold and what would happen if the occupants suddenly quadrupled in number. First rule would be who and when do the occupants get to use the bathroom(s). Protests in this country are guaranteed under our Constitution but we have all seen how out-of-hand, destructive and violent they can become. I see control is the no. 1 issue needed for a nation's cohesion and peace. Right now we can all see where peace and cohesion have come to.
That is a great reason to get one and install it. Let them be paranoid.
