During the geography class on the Eastern Mediterranean, the teacher asked Little Johnny, "What are the Phoenicians noted for?"

Little Johnny paused and then replied, " For their blinds!"

Venetian. The Phoenicians were noted for inventing phones.

And they invented the Phoenetic Alphabet as well....LOL.

Also a correct answer. The reacher did not ask.... "What are the Phonenicians noted for in the history?"

He should get an A. He gave a modern answer.

We call them Venetian Blinds here.
