Rebecca Suzanne "Becky" Bell (August 24, 1971 – September 16, 1988) was an American teenage girl who died of complications from a septic abortion. After becoming pregnant, Bell inquired about a legal abortion but was hindered by Indiana state laws which required either her parents' consent or a waiver from a judge. Instead, Bell either obtained an illegal abortion or attempted to self-abort, leading to a fatal infection.

DAUGHTER

I was like a bird on
an endless flight,

Hiding in the day and
flying at night,

Up above I could see
no wrong,

But down below for my
peace I would long.

It was like I was
carried through a
stream of air,

That made my life
unable to bear ...

I still can fly, and
expand my wings,

But now I appreciate
what life down here
brings.

Those so-called "pro-lifers" don't actually care about any real life. They're members of a cult, only seeking the validation of their peers.

My long time friend, a devout Catholic, worked as an ER nurse in the"coathanger days". Nobody supports birth control and abortion more than she does.

This is so unbelievably tragic, and it stymies me why we still haven't resolved this issue. Did you know her?

No, I didn't. Just wanted to remember her.

The pro-life world never cared about her. They only cared about the zygote that was growing inside her.

They are more pro-embryo than "pro-life."
