I don’t know about you guys but I’m sick to death of people that see admitting they were wrong about anything is a sign of weakness.
I married one, and it led to divorce despite my best efforts (I’m from a dysfunctional family, I can live in a bad relationship the rest of my life, not sure that’s good but if it was I’d be a saint)
Now one is in the White House and we can see the results. Everyone knows his atrocious behavior and the ones that claim he’s virtuous know they’re lying because they hate their political enemies more than they love the inspiration represented by the Constitution, but refuse to acknowledge it.
Admitting to being wrong is in fact the opposite of weakness...it’s a sign of strength. It also shows humility and an ability to face up to one’s mistakes and to live with the consequences, whatever they may be.
I don't understand people who think that admitting that they were wrong about something is a sign of weakness!
It's a sign of strength and courage to admit mistakes! Our beliefs and opinions SHOULD change as circumstances change, or we learn more, or we grow as individuals.
"The greatest thing about this man is he's steady. You know where he stands. He believes the same thing Wednesday, that he believed on Monday, no matter what happened Tuesday. Events can change, this man's beliefs never will."
It sounds like someone taking about Trump, but it wasn't. Sad we keep getting "leaders" from the GOP that can be so accurately described with the same quotes.
I've always said it takes a big and grown up person to admit when they're wrong. Hence, it's no surprise that an immature, small insecure man like Trump can never do that.
