Maybe you should consider looking around more and finding out about new places. If you did you might find Colorado isn't the end all be all place you seem to think it is now.

I'm in colorado! And I feel ya on finding colorado ppl here. I still have not gotten a single response from a coloradan

From OR, I think those from enlightened zones feel less threatened, thus less of a reason to stick together. Now in the butthole of VA, I definitely appreciate noticing contributors from nearby (even if we occasionally disagree).
