Well, in case anyone may be interested.
The 'requested attend' (LOL) Dinner with Justice 'X' and the Support last evening was quite the 'hoot' say the least.
One of the ' fanciest' Restaurants in town, a 4 course meal, not the usual style as to be expected either, no-one expecting you to drink alcohol though a few of us did, not me btw, plenty of good, though occasionally 'risque' humour, conversation.
Orders (LOL) were given upon arrival that "EVERYONE should keep their hands away from their wallets/purses" as EVERYTHING was being paid for by Justice 'X' from her OWN pocket, NOT from the Expense Account.
Travel to and from was via a hired vehicle NOT our own car, etc, and also paid for though not by the Guests as well.
Dinner began at 7.30pm, we ate, laughed, joked and enjoyed ourselves, Bel included.
And just before we were all about to leave, Justice 'X" casually announced that she intended to nominate our little for an award in the Local Annual Citizens of the Year Awards to held in January, 2021.
Everyone was shocked to say the least at hearing this, BUT, me being me, I respectfully declined on my own behalf giving my own factual reason that " I do what I do because I know instinctively that it IS the Right and Decent thing to do BUT I also agree 100% that the remainder of the deserves recognition far, far more than I do and can ever express as well.
So, after much discussion and me standing firm, it was decided that the group , sans me, should still be nominated and should they gain the Award, accept it for themselves and their diligence.
The best news came though when Bel announced that she will soon be undertaking the Hormone Treatments needed for early stages of Gender Reassignment, has been enrolled to Home Study until next year when she will start attending one of our local PUBLIC Schools, NO LONGER the Catholic School.
I think I finally arrived at my front door somewhere around the 'Witching' hour, stone cold sober, well and truly fed and having had a most enjoyable evening.
