1.This guy clearly has NO idea what safety protocol for drug testing consists of. Can he use Google?
2. I know Pfizer, their original manufacturing facility is about a 2-minute walk from my house, has been there for decades...of course, even before Viagra, they were a world-wide major research & manufacturing giant...saving lives with stuff like Terramicin from way back. Oh, and Chapstick, among hundreds of things we all use.
3. Drump gave them Nothing, but handed out billions to companies owned by his cronies that had never done anything with drugs or vaccines, ever. And yet, here they are, trying to figure out how to distribute this vaccine (which needs to be kept extremely cold)

It's free at point of use. In other words the "government" will pay for it. However, how does this thing called "the government" get the money it uses to pay? Work that one out and you know.
It's actually the same way that most European countries run universal health care, thus depriving all those honest, hard working employees of health insurance companies a nice, financially rewarding job.
Actually, the $2 billion price tag for 100 million doses works out at $20 a dose. Not bad when you consider the research costs, manufacturing costs and ultra-low temperature storage cost.
@Wildgreens the PROBLEM is some vax is dangerous to some people harmless and ineffective for other people and placebo effect for people desperate to allow themselves to be vaxxed..... all viruses are small unlike visible germs under a microscope..... polio germs were alive, harvested from victims killed in laboratory then manufactured into a vax fluid for human bodies to grow antibodies which attack the dead polio germs equally ready to attack an exposure to live polio germs from swimming pools or direct contact with infected people..... a virus is neither alive nor dead... making a vax for any virus is deceptive and likely weak against the most deadly viral strains
