No high heels. And no Rollerblades either!
at best with bare feet
Hiking barefoot was a brief, demented craze in 2014.
"I invited a new woman," Gro said as we gathered at the trail head. The woman arrived barefoot! It was a steep, rocky hike.
"You can't go without hiking boots or shoes," we told her. She had no shoes or boots in her car. We didn't let her hike with us.
@LiterateHiker may have an interesting comment.
As for me if I can't wear "fuck me" pumps I'm not going.
I don't own "fuck me" pumps, but wherever I am at I should be able to wear them or I'm not going.

I have never worn high heel shoes and never will. They permanently injure women's feet, back and toes.
"Your toe bones are worn down at the tips," a podiatrist said, looking at my foot x-ray last year. "That's from descending steep trails while hiking," I replied.
Now I'm wearing hiking boots a half-size larger.
@LiterateHiker I only wear practical shoes, or flip flops, or bare footed.
I have never owned high heals exactly for the reasons you listed.
I have a fear of heights too, so no.
@LiterateHiker Not hiking boots...
