One thing I find to be a slippery slope is discussing the Tina Turner song We don't need another hero.

From one point, the hero could be in regards to that fabled white saviour, and by that same token, the hero could also mean the countless deaths of African Americans to progress. I don't know, what do you guys think?

It was a way to further the plotline in Mad Max Thunderdome. Tina played the leader of a bunch of thugs & did not want Mad Max supplanting her. Reading too much into these things, like they are major philosophical statements, is a time-wasting mistake IMO

honestly I didn't remember it from Thunderdome...plus, only hearing it on the radio, with no video as a reference...

It talks about the Thuderdome. Was that a reference to? Mad Max? I tend to think it was just thrown in there making me think the lyrics are nonsensical.
