What good has come to the citizens of the United States because of the current administration?
It's made the worthless racists and homophobes easier to see and pick off. It's made decent people more politically active. That's about it.
More young people are registering to vote for the first time, spurred by outrage toward the current administration. Also, a number of LGBTQ people and first-timers are now running for office to work for change.
agree, lots of renewed interest in politics across the boards...well, except with the republicans.
I would say a good think that has come from the dumpster fire that is our current situation is that more people who would normally be ambivalent about politics are getting involved. More women are running for office than ever before. And young people are putting the old guard on notice that things need to change.
Not a lot. I decided to soloriz my rv, make beer and grow pot and food. I been watching trump before the orange make up and wig. He never impress me. Stress I notice. His hate speech brought the haters. We will have a high turn out on the midterms
Maybe North Korea is going to back off a bit? Not been any tests for a little while.
This would have been my comment. Trump got N to visit S. That WAS Trump.
They are now fully aware the whole democratic system is broken !
In the most positive possible way? Let's polish the turd. It's another step in the direction of change. The more these shit governments keep adding to the pile, the people keep getting nudged towards either positive change or extinction. Win/win lol
I think the important thing to realize is that it's not just 1 individual politician or 1 administration or even 1 party that affects us the most.............it's the system.
Record low unemployment, record high stock market. Business deregulations. 3 million new jobs...
Thanks Obama!
the jobs pay 7.25 an hour . the stock market has very little relation to the average person and business is running amok with so little oversight to the point of outsourcing the majority of well paid working class jobs. you must be relatively wealthy to be so biased
I like seeing people stick up for what they believe in.
This question brought to you by the aliens observing from Triton.
Getting out of TPP (Trump is now reconsidering) is one good thing. The Transpacific Partnership sounds warm and fuzzy but it's not.

After the last US presidential election we know that our democracy works. The republican establishment didn’t want him during the primaries. And very few people of power and influence wanted him elected president. The people really did choose. For better or worse.
@Louie406 Yep, there are definitely flaws with the electoral college. I am by no means a Trump supporter but the fact that he won showed me that the system, as flawed as it may be, was still working. There was nothing anyone in a position of disproportionate power could do to prevent his election. Keep in mind that this is a thread about positive things that have come from this administration, and this is the only thing I can find.
Also, this conversation can't be had without mentioning that very, very few people were actively objecting to the electoral college before the result of the election. Would you feel the same about the "archaic system" if the situation was reversed? (Hillary won electoral vote, but not popular, and was subsequently elected president.)
