I'm sorry...but all this group stuff sucks. I see a post, a meme, while scrolling along and I just want to make a quick comment but I have to join to do so, or I can't join for some odd reason.
I'm finding it harder and harder to find a reason to come here.
"Join" isn't a lifetime commitment, you can leave right after your comment gets posted.
I always click on “Groups” and learn of the existence of groups I wouldnt have imagined.
Why don’t they all require joining? Personal preferences. Different people wrote parts of the computer code at different times and they encoded different requirements for commenting.
Joining? Join with a click; leave with another. It’s okay to either like or dislike one-night stands. I want to know the people I mix with.
Aha, one of the "stumblers" not "I control my path" through life people. No wonder the likes of Trump & Biden get elected.
. . . perhaps a glitch, but I'm able to comment in groups that I have not joined and have the message "You must be a member of this group before commenting"
I am too, except the individual replies do not have a "reply" button, so I just post on the main comment box.
Thank you! The group posts appearing in the general feed defeats the whole purpose of having groups.
And not being able to comment on a group post also posted in the general feed for any reason but in particular for having been banned from a group preemptorily (you know who you are) is beyond ridiculous!
Yes. Posts made in groups should be on a 'groups feed.' And, the general feed should be for open posts.
