A winter storm hits Texas, causing blackouts, and republicans are blaming renewable energy and using it as proof that the Green New Deal is bad policy.
Apparently they don't realize that a big upgrades to infrastructure is part of the GND. Or that it is climate change which is causing these destructive weather conditions in the first place.
Congresswoman Lauren Boebert blames Biden's ban on oil and gas. Did I miss something? I wasn't aware that Biden banned fossil fuels. I thought he was supportive of fracking and is giving out new drilling permits like hot cakes.
actually exon is loosing so much money they are gonna invest in cleaner energy after all the polluting and hurting they did
Hope so. But I wouldn't trust exon as far as I can throw them.
@Zoltans_Queen I know what you mean
Ohferpetesake, just put in "all-season" lubricants (more expensive, of course) and they will work in all weathers just like all the other ones all over the world.
Because you all went Cheap does not mean the turbines aren't any good, Karen.......
exactly
Yeah, that's what they should have done, but they didn't and now republicans are blaming the volatility of renewable energy for the people who are freezing in Texas.
If wind power works in Canada, it can certainly work in Texas.
