The fact that he a Muslim Arab is very relevant. When's the last time an avowed Atheist shot up a store, or a school. It's always Moslems or Xtians that do this stuff.

@barjoe well I agree, but the poster seems to be hating on the persons race and appearance not their ideology. But for me ideology isn't the main problem, its mental health.

@Tejas I'm with you on that, far too much focus on the identity of the shooter instead of what motivated him to do what he did. When incidents like that occur, we all get to see the crazy and emotional side to humanity, people are too quick to jump to conclusions and allow themselves to be dictated to by their emotions.

@SpikeTalon agreed. I try not to get myself too worked up when people focus on the wrong things imo, I think alot of people just need a place to vent and I won't hold that against them as long as they don't throw out reason

@KKGator I just now saw the image of the man who was the shooter in Boulder. To be fair he did appear to be a hairy white man 30 to 40 years old. What is clear is he was NOT black or brown and there was no way to tell he was a Muslim. From what I've read he clearly is mentally disturbed. That is sad BUT he NEVER should have been able to get the weapon he used to gun down people.

He used a gun to kill people.
That makes it an assault weapon.

He was the only person transported, in handcuffs, to the hospital.

I saw the guy.
He is fat, balding, and appears to be middle aged.
