Yessss dude. We have very similar tastes... not a huge fan of mudvayne, godamack and hatebreed... but I have known of them for well over a decade... I am a HUGE slipknot fan. I saw mastadon live with slayer and lamb of god and children of bodom. Pantera is legendary and essential of you like metal. RIP dimebag.
Motherfuckin Danzig ??
Some Australian music - The Audreys:
Thank you, this is actually pretty awesome! I like her voice.
@M3G4N666 I saw them live on Saturday night in Canberra. A great gig. Glad you liked the link.
Hey! I LOVE this! Thanks so much for sharing!
Right in Two by TOOL
Y E S ! I fucking love tool but will totally listen to them tonight. thank you
One of TOOL's best songs. Lyrically and instrumentally. And my favorite track off the 10,000 Days album.
rather classic at 46 years of age, this song is one of the many from a favorite singer-songwriter.
Amy Wadge - co-wrote "Thinking Out Loud" with Ed Sheeran, she is now one of the most in demand songwriters in the business, across the board - TV/Movie theme songs (Keeping Faith, Wonder Woman), pop singers in the UK, Country and pop musicians in the US. Commutes fairly regularly from home base in Wales to Nashville
This one is for every artist who had to keep their day job
I really enjoyed that. Thanks! ?
Just heard this Gieko commercial and brought back memories of Woodstock NY in 1969.
Going Up the Country by Canned Heat.
Oh yeah! That's a great song! Thank you
Watch out, there’s a LOT of closed minded music snobs here.
I have a REALLY wide taste in music but at the same time, I am very picky.
and wow... I have never heard this before... this kind of reminds me of system of a down at the 1:20 mark. I would be interested in hearing more of the album. thanks for the share!
@M3G4N666 you familiar with Mike Patton, Dave Lombardo, Justin Pearson, or Michael Crain?
@NothinnXpreVails Mike Patton sounds very familiar but I wouldn't know them without looking them up. I don't know the names off hand... who are they? Or should I just look them up?
@M3G4N666 Patton from Faith No More/Mr. Bungle, Lombardo from Slayer, Crain and Pearson from The Locust.
@NothinnXpreVails yes, I know mr. Bungle and ironically I have seen slayer live in 2009 in San Jose Ca but i was mostly there at the show for lamb of god but slayer did headline. Not a huge fan of slayer but my step dad loved them so I grew up listening to them... haven't heard of the locust before so I will have to check them out
first band i remember liking on my own, not one i liked just because thats what my family listened to, was sublime. first song of theirs i heard was date rape. been in love ever since. i also like the song mad world, can't remember who sings it. i like a lot of queen, nine inch nails, enigma, mumford and son/s, zz top, santana, and weird al to name a few
oh HELL YEAH! I LOVE sublime, I have two of their records on vinyl and when I was younger, I obsessed over them so I have a lot of their lyrics memorized. Mad World is a great song! I believe the artist is "Gary Jules" (yes, I did look it up because I did not know either...) Queen is amazing and I don't trust people who don't like Queen. Nine inch nails are also amazing. "Year Zero" and "With Teeth" are my favorite albums by them. and I am also a fan of Weird Al. He is actually coming to Austin in a few days but I can't afford it. I have been busting my ass at work lately, working overtime because i found out my dog has a tumor that needs removed and the Vet quoted me at 800...
@M3G4N666 oh no! i hope your doggo is ok. mine had a cyst in her uterus that they said would burst and kill her if he didnt get a 3000 dollar surgery within 24 hours. we were heartbroken, we could never find that kind of money in such a short time. another vet saw us and started talking to us. she eventually told us we could try antibiotics at 300 dollars a bottle. we managed to get that together and she is still going strong. 17 years old now and still thinks shes a pup. needs help into the car now tho
@SACatWalker Oh no! What's up?
@Byrd that is crazy! I wish they had payment options... they just tell me to get a credit card but I ducked my credit up like a dumbass when I was young... now I am trying to repair it.. anyways... I'm glad she is going strong! I had a red doberman a year ago that I had to put down because she had osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and it was horrible. Still makes me cry if I think about it... I got her as a pup and only had her for two years... it felt unfair.. i was slammed with vet Bill's then. I just love dogs way more than people... i got two puppies at the animal shelter after she passed (not directly after)... anyways. Thanks for sharing your story hope you have a good night
@SACatWalker Sorry about Danny. That's very very sad. Appreciate the very advice.
Probably the greatest song (aria), Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen" ("Hell's vengeance boils in my heart&rdquo from one of the greatest Operas, Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) by one of the greatest Composers, Mozart, sung by one of the great Sopranos, Diana Damrau, in one of the finest Houses in in the world, The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
That is a lot of Great in one place.
The great thing is that it’s not about Love like every other song in the world. It’s about a Mother instructing her Daughter to Murder her Father.
Sweet!
"Blue Avenue" by Elton John / Lyrics by Bernie Taupin:
Sigrid is an up and coming singer song writer.

I'd wind up putting one of my songs in the box.
My non - religious ass has really been digging the hell out of this instrumental tune. I think it is a Muslim religious song done by some southern jam guys. Enjoy!
