It's my experience that often times these drunk passengers started their drinking in the airport, pre-flight, so not sure how cutting out the alcohol on the flights will help much, except to encourage the heavy drinkers to over do it at the bar before they board. At least on the plane the flight attendants can monitor the number of drinks per passenger up to a point.

I hate drunks only because my dad was a drunk and it made our family life miserable when he was around, we loved it when he left and would be gone months or years, we could care less if he ever came home.
