This is an interesting tidbit concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.
[washingtonpost.com]
As the infection rate drops due to vaccinations, the story is very different amoung the unvaccinated.
And this is a bad thing Why?
The only reason I can think of is that the more virus that is out there, the more opportunity it has to mutate into a new form.
The article ends with:-
“The people who are not vaccinated are the ones who are not wearing a mask or washing their hands. Those are the very people who often times will socialize and be around similar like-minded people. You’re going to have the pandemic continue in those clusters.”
.
Long live the Darwin Awards!
I am sad for those that can't take the vaccine for medical reasons, but I'm not so generous to those that refuse because of their politics, they get what they deserve.
They most certainly do.
Agreed. The problem for those who can't get vaccinated is that since we have so many who refuse to get it, they compound the risk for those who can't. If we had a high percentage of our population getting vaccinated, it significantly reduces the risk of infection for those who can't.
@RussRAB seems so simple to understand, but noooooooo
@AnneWimsey - Dare I say what else these anti-vaxers believe and who they listen to and believe?
