And how many billions did the US government spend on biodefense, yet no recommendations for masks early on. What is one of the first things the gov should have been studying with those billions, yes, NATIONAL DEFENSE from BIOLOGICAL THREATS. Yet we behaved nationally when it was first unfolding like we never even considered how to prevent an air born respriratory illness on a national scale. Let's not forget the intel meeting where Sen. are being told, "it's going to be bad", but we, the general public, are not being told to wear masks? That makes NO SENSE. And then of course, we have a tape of Bill Gates, from years back, telling us(or is it international us?) how woefully unprepared we are for such a scenario. It just seems like if you are going to have an entire World Economic Forum summit on the matter properly timed before the actual event occurs, pls tell biodefense their job duties and give a detailed response with federal funding dollars in this realm. How can the average American not feel all the billions and forums couldn't buy a simple, straight forward plan that was applied in the needed timely manner. I still do not see anywhere in the media where this Q is being asked. Who heads biodefense? Who is in charge? What is the comprehensive plan? I don't hear anyone being grilled on this.

In times past when the nation was dealt challenges, defense responded with a system. Now, where is our system? There was a covid resoonse that evolved as the illness spread, but in a broader sense, biological threatwise, what is the system we are implementing nationally that will assure a greater level of preparedness for related threat possibilities. I feel our national defense is almost nonexistent in this regard.

Will we ever know what happened in China? I don't know. We have to focus on the future. Are we ready? I read a scathing rebuke of the CCP, I don't know how much of what was said is true, however if only even a very small percent is true people need to wake up because this is just the beginning. Or is it fear mongering? Either way, if China is not to blame for this, it is still our national responsibility to aim for prepsredness.

Xi probably can't win a full war against us because China has around 50 nukes. Xi needs a commitment by a Putin he can trust to use his nukes should that time come. That's a hard trust to win and, if wrong, Xi will lose. Badly. China wants respect and a full seat at the table. They do not want war.
