Actually it's more like white men versus everybody else. Hopefully they will lose.
Actually, the person responsible for the quote is a rich, old white man.
The jar is usually shaken by those who want to distract people from there own failings. Wars for example are not usually the results of conflicts between peoples, but are things promoted by governments. Because when governments are corrupt, incompetent or both, and they find themselves unable to resolve the domestic problems to the peoples satisfaction, the easy target on which to redirect the blame is foreigners.
The cold war, was a perfect example, in the Soviet Block, Communism had failed to deliver, while at the same time, capitalism had also failed to deliver for many in the west. The two good things about the cold war, however, from the point of view of the governments involved, were that not only did it not involve much shooting, except by proxy in a few third world countries, but also, it was very sustainable long term. Is it any wonder that Putin, whose corrupt government is failing just about every domestic measure, wants to revive it.
While I think that the failing of Christianity to deliver, may have a lot to do with its increasing links to sexism and racism etc.
Yep if you want to know who shook the jar, look to see who failed on their promises, is a good start.
It was me, I confess.
