All these pastors talking about god protecting them from Covid have obviously forgotten that God allowed 6 million Jews (his chosen people) to be murdered in this most horrific ways. Not to mention the millions that survived and were tortured.
Never mind all that these preachers are thinking god will bless them with $50 million planes yet he let little children suffer terribly in the Holocaust.

The people of Israel were told to slaughter a lamb and smear their doors so that the angel of death would "pass over". Sounds an awful lot like a vaccination to me.

yes and here is the kicker to that story. On each judgement. God said he hardened pharaohs heart. So it wasn’t good enough to god to have 1 plague. God had to keep hardening his heart to have 7 plagues and kill firstborn. Why didnt go’s soften his heart after 1st plague. Evidently god wanted to show how wicked he was

Many Christians would disagree with this sentiment, arguing that when the Jews rejected Christ and were complicit in his execution, they were no longer his “chosen people.” In other words, they had it coming to them.

The way things go in the GQP today I would not be surprised to hear that Hitler did not want to exterminate the Jews. He didn't like them so he was really using them in experiments to make his troops absolutely fireproof. MTG could use that one. Unfortunately none of the experiments worked.

Here in Oregon back in the late 1990's we had the Christian Coalition. One of their leaders was writing a book on this very topic. I have no idea if it ever got published, but the man did make his way to Uganda where he helped them put many anti-gay laws into their constitution.
People like Kenneth Copeland would have been completely behind the Nazis who also claimed to be Christians.

Prior to WWII, Europe had a millennia of pogroms wherein Christians murdered hundreds or thousands of Jews. Anti-Jewish hatred is integral to Christianity along with hating other non-Christians, Christians of other sects, women, non-whites, LBGT, and now, scientists. Even now, in their intimate connection to this god, hate, not love, is what fills their minds.

There's a meme circulating on Facebook that goes if you don't need a mask because God will protect you from COVID, why do you need a gun?
As for your comments, no it makes no sense that a loving God would allow little children to suffer terribly even today while Copeland and other preachers live lavish lifestyles while breaking commandment after commandment.

The god of Old Testament is the biggest mass murderer in history
Hitler could have been stopped by the allied powers in 1936 when he marched into the Rhineland, a part of Germany demilitarized by the Versailles treaty after WW 1 at very little cost to themselves. But The British PM Chamberlain and French Premiere Edoard Daladier we’re unwilling to risk war, and the price of that failure to act we all know all too well what happened.
