There is a version of Ivermectin approved for humans. What anti-vaxxers are taking is the version for livestock which isn't FDA approved for humans. And, the Pfizer vaccine has now been FDA approved. The other vaccines have a special emergency approval. Judging that millions of Americans have been vaccinated with very few serious side effects, these other vaccines are likely to be approved by the FDA. The final trial for FDA approval is large sample size application. We couldn't have a much larger sample size than the several million vaccinated Americans.

People are resorting to using animal Ivermectin because Big Pharma has made it very difficut for doctors to fill a prescription for Ivermectin in the US. The Pfizer vaccine is still under a EUA. The 'approved' vaccine is Bio-N-tech's 'Comirnaty', which as I understand it is not yet available in the US. The FDA is trying to circumvent all normal protocols, and allow the Pfizer vax, which there is tons of that is coming up on its expiry date, to be considered interchangable with Comirnaty which is a legally distinct product. Thousands of people have died shortly after vaccination, and hundreds of thousands have reported adverse reactions, many resulting in permanent disabilities. None of the vaccines have completed their trials for safety and efficacy.

I am all for thinning the herd of the stupid and insane Trumpers and anti-vaxers, who are not to be confused with the ordinary folks who are mentally-challenged or mentally ill. We can only hope it improves our politics as well, same way with secession of the red states.

I hope he doesn't claim it was the Ivermectin rather than the monoclo am antibodies that did the trick if or when he recovers. People who take the livestock Ivermectin have ended up in the hospital without having COVID.

@glennlab I took the monoclonal antibodies, Regeneron, to be exact, after I got Covid in Dec., despite being careful ever since it arrived last year. And the Regeneron did cure my fever immediately, as well as shorten my illness and likely also prevented me from developing more serious symptoms. So he did not prove that the anti-worming drug cures Covid if he also used the other antibody drug. And he is an ass to have chosen to not protect himself against Covid in the first place.

@TomMcGiverin - The problem is what he choses to claim cured him. If he says it was Ivermectin, he could be putting others who listen to him at unnecessary risk.
