The Building Inspector arrived at Evangeloon's late Friday afternoon with a Surveyor in tow, Evengeloon had just steeped out side of his front door and was confronted by these two people one carrying a Court Order granting them the right of Entry to his property BEYOND the front door of his house.
According to Evangeloon, who spoke to me across the dividing fence about an hour ago, while they checked out his rather Monumentally sized out-buildings, all built by hand, no designs or professional input or advice sought after, NO building plans submitted fot approval either, the neighbours were to be easily seen viewing the goings on and commenting between themselves.
30-40 minutes elapsed, the inspections were over and done with, Evangelloon was handed an Official document telling him that he had 28 days in which he MUST submit detailed Construction Plans, written Licensed Builders Advice and Suggestions, etc, etc, receipts for ALL materials used, ALL measurements used, etc, etc, and IF he fails to do so, then the Council WILL obtain Legal Orders for the structures to be torn down and the debris disposed of at HIS expense PLUS a Fine possibly amounting to not less than $2,500.
He can't say he wasn't warned because I told him 10 years ago when he first started living there and building his 'structures' that HE NEEDED to submit Plans, etc, to the Council and gain a Building Permit BEFORE starting to build anything that was NOT listed as being on the land when his mother purchased it for him.
