Posting a link instead of sharing a link

I am really starting to get annoyed at links being posted instead of shared, since posting doesn't extract a Title. With so many new posts on the home page, it's tiresome to go through the ones with links with no clue as to what the links are about. Instead, one sees something like "Tell me what you think of this!"

So is there a way to detect when this happens and automatically inserting the Title info, even when a member doesn't use the Share a Link type of post? Would probably be helpful in ask a question as well.

Not sure if there is a way to determine title info, whenever I post a link I try to remember to briefly say what said link is about. That can get frustrating when you go to view a post and the description (if it exists at all) is vague.

On another note, if by chance you are interested in the topics of cyber security/tech news/blockchain+cryptocurrencies, feel free to check out the new group I started called Cyber Security & Information Technology.

Using the "Share a link" link actually extracts a title automatically, or tries to.

I agree - you have a good point.

But, I'm not going to shout from the rooftops since I scroll past 95% of link posts anyway.

An example of what I'm talking about. What's even worse is that I first tried posting the URL to the post, but the system converted it directly into an embedded youtube video.
