Normally, I'd think, "Who cares? All that matters is who gets more votes at the ballot box." But I'm not sure how much longer that:ll be true.

Who gets more votes at the ballot box only partly matters when we elect presidents. The Electoral College intervenes.

@yvilletom It only partly matters NOW. Maybe soon the true number of votes won't matter at all.
The Electoral will go from being a relic to being irrelevant.
